White rice is ane of my favorite force per unit area cooker recipes for beginners. It's a stride upwards from the water exam, merely it's about as piece of cake. You lot can also watch our How To Melt Instant Pot White Rice on YouTube.

It does take a few minutes for the pressure cooker to pressure up and a few minutes for the force per unit area cooker to release the force per unit area. Just I can put the rice, h2o, and salt in the electric pressure cooker, lock the lid in place and leave the room until the timer beeps.

I don't accept to wait for the h2o to come to a boil, I don't have to worry that I have the rice simmering at just the right temperature. I only gear up it and come back to perfectly cooked rice every time.

June said that her Japanese mom always says to rinse with super hot water until clear so allow the rice sit in hot water until it turns bright white. I utilise that technique before cooking in the Instant Pot when I want my rice to be perfect.
